good things aren't meant to last...
God, I can't help but smile when I look at my last journal post. I was so happy then, thinking nothing could ruin it. Sheesh, I should have known better than to be that naïve.You may (or you may not) have noticed I've been gone from Quizilla for quite a while now. I have a valid reason. when driving to our cabin at the lake with my cousins and 2nd cousins, we crashed with a trailer that was out of control.
I'm not going to bring out details, but I made it with just a broken leg and some scratches and bruises. three of my cousins made it as well. but the fourth one, Lars, didn't. he was not wearing his safety belt and died. I didn't see what happened because I faintes sometime during the crash.
um....well, with the whole recovery thing and funeral, I have not really found the time or energy to log onto quizilla and I've been living in internet-celibat.
Well, anyhow, I'm back now. Just wanted to let you know. And no, just because Lars died, I'm not going to become an emo.
