UPDATES! New series? hm...?! = |

I just posted chapter 2 of A Fighting Word. I can't even remember when I started that series but all of a sudden I just started to write chapter two.

I suppose it's up to the readers to decide the fate of AFW. I honestly never thought I would take it off hiatus but if I get some good feedback on it, I will definitely start writing it again. If I don't, oh well. =]

I will be posting another chapter of HTL or TUTN soon. I sort of miss those characters.
Does that happen to any other writers on here? Do you get attached to your characters?

Also, I'm thinking of refurbishing an old series I had from an account on here in '05. It's an HP fan fic but I think if I get the time I might refurbish it and post it again. I'll change the plot a little though because as I recall it was pointing toward a very awkward situation. Not to mention that I was only 13 years old when I started the series. I've come a long way since then, grammatically speaking. =P

I made it through! Hospitals, ambulances and meds... OH MY!!!!!!!

I guess I'm back for good. I just posted chapter 2.5 of Turn Up The NOS. I know it's been a really long time since I updated either of my stories, but I'm back and I'm finally healthy. No more hospital visits for me thank you very much.

I'm working on both stories right now. I'll update HTL soon I promise. I've just come across a rather large writers block.

Good news is that I am finally healthy after 8 months of hospitals, meds, and ambulances. =]

So drop me a line if you want.

Much love,
Katy

A farewell to the 2006-2007 school year

A Farwell To The 2006-2007 School Year

It seems as though I've lost touch with many people and have gained a new understanding of who my "real friends" are. While attending a new high school this year I have made new relationships. Both odd and wonderful in their own ways. Like my ex Tommy who absolutely refused to give up girls, and the two rad guys who helped me deal with that.

I've seen at least 40% of my class become addicted to smoking, drugs, or alcohol, sometimes all. I've lost someone whom I dearly cared for and celebrated the life of a dear friend who I lost 2 years prior.

There have been more school threats than I've ever seen on the news this year and I thank g-d our school wasn't one of them. With the painful events which occured at VA Tech our school prayed for the families who lost people they loved and for the man who slaughtered all those inoccent people. And yet with all the coruption I still manage to see a small glimer of hope.

None of us are pefect but I hope that people will begin to realize that. We all have horrible things that happen in our lives and it is there I hope we can reach a understanding; we all share those common bonds.

Yet again, I will be going to a new school next year and it is there I hope to create more relationships and have the ones I am in now, grow. Although this year may not be the most treasured, the people in it are.

Oh how the seasons change

I positively hate summers. The heat, well, it's just too hot for my liking. Granted, it isn't hot right now. However, I think we are going to have a sweltering summer. >_< Oregon hardly gets what you could call "snow" in the winter (it's more like slush where I am) and in the summer it's like 90 degrees until mid September. As for my writing, I'm writing the end to H.T.L's chapter 4 (which will now have a banner ^_^ yay!) and I can hopefully type that up and post it today. I have a new story I am also writing and if you like criminals, conflict, and fast cars I think you will enjoy it.
