Dropping "I'm Sorry"s Like You're Still Around.
Yes, this is an apology journal. Specifically, it's an apology for my absence from this site. I've got reasons, and just so you know what's going on, I'll outline it for you...My uncle recently passed away, and I was very close to him. The past week has been packed with funeral planning and overall reflection. I've been dealing with it, but for those of you who have been in the same position, you know it takes time.
School has been hectic - I can't even fathom how many hours I've spent in the last two weeks only on homework. Projects, tests, exams, and reports have been bogging me down to the point that I can't even seem to get my mind off of geometry, the Civil War, French past tense, and gene pools. God, I hate school.
I have almost no time to spend with my family - who I'd love to see more now, especially after my uncle's passing - or my friends and my boyfriend. My anxiety has spiked, and I keep having panic attacks. Needless to say, writing and Quizilla have been temporarily put on the backburner.
I just want you all to know that I love all of you, I'm not leaving Quizilla, and I'm definitely not done writing. You guys and my writing keep me sane, so once I get time to focus on that, I think I'll finally feel a little better.
My point is, please don't give up on me! I'm still alive and functioning (kind of) and my return is imminent.
I also wanted to say thank you all so much for all the support you've given me in the past year I've been on here. It means a lot to me; words can't explain. When I got on today, I saw I reached 14,000 profile views, which I know isn't a lot for most people, but for me, it's a big deal. So thank you.
