hey there everyone!

So, my net is still hanging on in there, and if things go to plan I will have the first part of the new series up for Easter!

The series will be called 'Harry Potter and the Power of the Pentagram' and it won't be as long as the first (i dont think! lol), but it goes all the way up to the final battle with an epilogue to boot.

Also thanks to everyone who left me nice supportive messages! I really appreciate it guys. I'm going through a pretty rough patch at the mo, and it helps to know that people out there who understand!

anyways, i'm off to shout at my boyfriend because he is being a complete *can't write swearwords today, need to stop being so rude lol*

Ok so here's the deal. My Dad is an effing w!nker and has stopped paying all maintainance to my Mum, and all the utility bills in a bid to try and hurt her. It's totally illegal and he shouldn't be allowed to do it, but because they are in an inbetween stage of the divorce, he can get away with it.

This means me and my three sisters are left to survive on Mum's wage which is a pittance, and as we were a large family, we live in quite a big house, so the utility bills are pretty expensive. Basically we are broke and my Dad is happy to let us starve rather than give anything to my Mum (yet he still claims to love us and want the best for us?? Asshole)

He is threatening to stop paying all *unnecessary* bills as well, to try and blackmail my Mum into giving him something or other...Freezing the endowments on the mortgage or something like that. This means we have loads of companies hassling us for money we don't have, or refusing to deal with us because we are not the policy holders. So, the alarm people want money, Mum can't drive her car coz the insurance has been cancelled and she can't get new insurance because she's not the named holder, and everything is an absolute effing mess.

I am going to attempt to tal to my internet provider and take out a new policy with them or downgrade the policy we have so I can afford to pay it, but the chances are they won't talk to me because it's in his name.

The long and short of it all, is from tomorrow I may not have internet for a month or so. I will check messages if and when I can, and will continue writing my series so that when I have it back I can post loads all at once to thank you for being so patient.

If I don't reply to a message, please just be patient, I will eventually get round to answering them all, and I'm so sorry about all this!!

(and yes I know this is the same message as is on my homepage, I just wanted to make sure as many people as possible got it, coz I don't want anyone to think that I am ignoring their messages or quitting the series!)

This seems to be a popular topic at college at the moment, and don't ask what got us on to this topic of conversation coz I really don't know.... my friends are just weirdos lol

Anyway, the question posed by one such weird individual was 'Can you touch your belly button?'

Now, I thought nothing of it. Thought it was an incredibly stupid question in fact. Who can't touch their belly button? It's just another bit of skin on your body...

Well, apparently half of my friends at college can't touch their own belly buttons. My boyfriend is the worst of the lot - says it makes him feel physically sick just thinking about it!! (mind you he is a freak lol, he's scared of feathers... can't stand being touched by them. Bad sign that my head is going 'hmmm.... hours of fun torturing could be had here!')

I was very surprised to say the least.

Is this just an affliction of a small market town in shropshire, or is it 50% of the world that can't touch their belly buttons???

Well, it's ten o'clock and I am home already. We get an inch of snow and the whole of britain grinds to a halt, or in my case this morning, driving my sister to school early for a music lesson, skids to a halt.

Never driven in snow before, it was amusing to say the least. Where I live there is hardly any snow, but as I drove to the town where I go to school it got worse and worse. Normally it's the other way round.... There were cars getting stuck all over the place and my car was sliding all over the road. Then I get to college to find none of the senior management could make it so I have to turn round and go straight back home!

Well, Im not complaining!

Bleurgh... exam time again. I hate exams, particularly Mechanics exams :( I was supposed to be revising for it and accidently watched two episodes of Invasion, wrote a song and part 83 of my quiz... all in all not much revision, but who'd have it any other way?

The person who doesn't fail all their exams I suppose.... lol

Though, all things said, accidently watching two hours of Invasion isn't the worse thing I've done. The last time I did something accidental I accidently ate a whole box of shortbread and was very nearly sick. Was one of those times where you are hardly even aware you are eating until you stop...

And while I'm on the subject of telly, it's the Lost finale tomorrow (yes i know those of you in america are on series two, but we are a bit backwards over here in Britain!). I really liked Lost to start with but am rapidly losing heart with it as it looks like nothing is going to be wrapped up. Ever. Like the polar bears, the monster thing, walt and his mysterious abilities, what it was that Kate did anyway...??? And now they've added *the Others*, an old fashioned ship that somehow ended smack bang in the middle of the island (though i must admitt that was a good moment when you realised the Black Rock wasn't actually a rock at all) and that hatch thing... I can't see it all being solved satisfactorally in two hours.

I suppose I'll just have to watch the second series! hehe. Invasion, which isn't as good but still mildly entertaining, will keep me occupied til then, along with Doctor Who which is back in march (*happy dance*)

Oh yeah, and please anyone who reads this, don't spoil the end of Lost for me, I may complain but it's the highlight of my wednesday's really... :D

Meh, sometimes I really hate my uncanny knack for doing things just at the wrong time, such as twisting my ankle a week before we are due to go on an adventure holiday over Christmas.... I can't walk :( And now my sister is having an absolute fit about hair straighteners. she should try having an ankle five times its normal size with a black bruise that goes all the way around her foot and alfway up her leg. Then she wouldn't complain about not having enough time to straighten her hair and go on the computer. Blah thats enough of me complaining. It's just been one of those days and I had to let it out.

Woo! Two conditional offers out of four so far for a Creative Writing course. *dances around* Sorry... just had to get that out lol

Been moving my aunt out of her house and into a new one today. She has rather a lot of crap and so it was very hard work, but nice to see it all sorted out, in a van and off to the new house. While moving her sofa however, we discovered some objects that forensic tests later identified to be a (very mouldy)hula hoop, boiled sweet and half a crumpet. All were rather green and furry... hmmmm Aunt creates new life under sofa? lol

Strange things are afoot....

1. I have done my English homework
2. I understand my Maths homework
3. Bryan Adams has made it into my Top 25 Most played list
4. and my Father is talking to me on MSN????

Now if only the computer would fix.... stranger things have happened
