It seems like ages since I've even been near this website. Lots of things have happened in the few months I've been missing. I apologize for my extended absence, but guess what... I'm coming back! Finally! Things are beginning to turn around in my life, for the better, and I'm making a concentrated effort to pump myself up and start writing again. While I may have been gone, I have certainly not forgotten about my stories and most importantly, my fans. I've been completely reworking Too Far Gone and am excited to announce that it is better than ever!! Many things about the series have changed; characters, names, bits of the plot line, and other things as well. I'm hoping that everyone will enjoy the changes I've made!

Another vastly important detail I have neglected to mention, Too Far Gone has changed in narrative style!! Because it is so drastically different, I will be posting the first chapter in two narrative styles-- first and third person-- and then take votes to see what style you like best. Yes, this means it will NO LONGER BE SECOND PERSON! I recieved a complaint concerning the matter a long while ago and have been mulling over the concept of changing the narration ever since. As a young adult who greatly wishes to make writing into a career, I took their criticism to heart and have finally responded to their anonymous message. I must thank this person for making their notions clear to me! I truly appreciate comments on my works! (However, I would appreciate it even more if it stayed constructive!) :)

While reviewing old chapters of Too Far Gone and debating over a certain issue, I've decided to go ahead and make a MAJOR change to the story... Instead of being written in the point of view it is currently in, I will be changing TFG to a First Person narrative! Yes, that's correct. I've fought with the concept for more than a year and concluded to try at least one chapter in that narrative style. I have already played around with the style by writing future scenes from the story I've already mapped out. And so far, I'm really liking how it sounds...

Please feel free to send me messages (not comments on the story itself) concerning the matter. I want to hear what YOU think!

Alright! I'm finally back!

Chapter Eighteen of Too Far Gone has been posted and I have some news about my update schedule... I will be moving to a weekly posting! Give or take a few days. I will be trying to budget my time in order to post a new chapter every Friday...

Another point I feel I need to address... P-L-E-A-S-E send my messages, either commenting or constructively critisizing my work. I'm really trying to improve upon my writing skills and I cannot do so without feedback! So please, message me!

I really hate to do this yet again, but... I'm planning on taking another hiatus with Too Far Gone. School is winding down and my teachers are throwing a ton of curve balls. Namely, a bookreport, two essays, an early final, and a low grade that I'm trying to raise in a short amount of time in order to keep my GPA up... whew! What a mouthful! But really, with the headache that is my junior year of highschool, I have next to no time to write. In order to put out the best quality of work I possibly can, I MUST take this break to de-stress and refresh myself. Otherwise, my stories will be affected by my emotional status. I'll continue to write as much as possible during the remainder of the school year, but it will be very little. Hopefully, I'll have an edited and a new chapter by May 22. Both of which I will post very close, if not on that date.

Once again, thank you for all of your wonderful support, I couldn't do this without you! And remember, comments and critiques are greatly appreciated!!

Wow! February just flew by me like a plane breaking the sound barrier! Despite not updating last month like I'd very much hoped, I'm proud to announce that I will be posting THIS WEEKEND! That's right! I have completely finished re-writing chapter three and just plain writing chapter seventeen. I have also edited all of seventeen and will be polishing off the rest of three this week. Hopefully, they'll both be out Friday evening!

Once again, I must thank everyone who has suffered through these long months of no updates and still wants to stay behind my story! I also want to thank all of my new readers who have added me during this dry spell.

Without all of you, I would've given up on this story long ago! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

This month has flown by so quickly! Sadly, I haven't had as much free time as I'd originally anticipated, so, the Too Far Gone updates for the month of January are going to be postponed until the first few days of February... But luckily, I have finished the re-write of chapter three and will be editing it soon. So I promise that there will be an update to look forward to! As I mentioned a while ago, I completely scrapped the first version of chapter three and wrote it again, this time from scratch. I highly suggest that those who read the first version go back and re-read the new one! It will be worth your time!

Can you believe it's already 2009? I sure can't! Concerning the Too Far Gone updates for January... I promise that they are coming! I'm hoping to finish the re-write of chapter three tonight, finish chapter seventeen sometime this week, and post both of them this weekend! I can't make any garuntees with my crazy schedule, but I will try with all of my might, and then some, to get those chapters out at the end of this week!!

When I do post the re-write of chapter three... I HIGHLY recommend that you re-read it! I scrapped the original chapter three and COMPLETELY changed everything about it! (That's part of why it's taken so long to write- coupled with my perfectionist tendencies and my computer's sadistic love of deleting word documents.)

Well, obviously I didn't have anything finished to post this month... I'm terribly sorry about that! Finals were four days long this year and we had to have two final exams in each class, so things have been pretty crazy. However, I'm nearly finished with the re-write of chapter three and I'll hopefully have chapter 17 done by the end of the month. I'm hoping to post a new and re-written chapter in the beginning of January. Once again, I have to thank all of my loyal fans. With out you, I wouldn't be writing TFG.

Concerning TFG:
I'm back from my two month long hiatus, and that means that'll I'll start updating TFG again. But as this school year has clearly shown me, I won't be able to keep up with my old two-week update schedule. So to give myself a bit more breathing room, I'm going to start updating TFG on a monthly basis. But that doesn't mean I'll only be posting one chapter a month. This new schedule will give me an entire month to write as much as I possibly can, and then at the end of the month I will post all the chapters I've completed that month. So if I wrote two chapters in November, I would post those two at the end of the month.
I know this probably sounds rather agrrevating towards those who look forward to new chapters. But this year I've been given backbreaking amounts of homework (not to mention all the extra I have from being sick and missing two days worth), I'm working after school some days and on Saturdays, plus, my social activity has skyrocketed. I'm not trying to complain, I love being busy, but there's just so much going on that my writing has been pushed off to the sidelines.
This new update schedule will remain in place until next year, which if you think about it, that's not too far off. After the first of the year, I'll decided if I'm able to go back to the two-week schedule, or if I should keep going with the new one-month schedule.
I hope everyone understands. :)

I've finished chapter two and will edit it ASAP.

TFG News: I know that I was supposed to be off of hiatus as of today. But, today during my Writing Club meeting at school, a friend of mine brought me a six page long sheet on how to form a good character and something dawned on me. Kira really isn't a well-formed character! So I hate to do this, but I'm continuing the hiatus until November 1st. This will give me plenty of time to re-write the entire TFG story!! No, your eyes are not deceiving you. I'm going to be filling out the character sheet (all six of them) and try to make Kira the potentially awesome character she could be. I'll leave the old chapter of TFG up until I come back with the re-written versions. I'll also continue to float around on Quizilla and check messages. So if you have any question, comments, concerns, or critisicms (which I would be most grateful to receive) I'm just a few clicks of your mouse away! ^^

Three weeks of school have passed and I'm still alive! Hurray! My allergies have faded and I'm feeling much better, which means I can think straight now! Last weekend I was sick for all three days (yup, we had a three day weekend because of Labor Day.) The writing club my friend and I started up is doing very well and I think it's actually giong to last more than a few months. We didn't exactly have high hopes for it until we had around thrity people sign up, which far exceded our expectations!! Despite my excitement for the club, homework has been bringing me down and stressing me out. I'm taking AP U.S. History II this year (since I'm a junior now, the school is offering us courses with college credits.) and Honors Algebra II. Both classes are very demanding and require alot of my attention. Not only that, but I'm taking a Communications course this semester, too. Which I like my presonal hell on earth. I am a complete mess when I have to give a speech and most of the class focuses on public speaking. (Our final is a twenty minute presentation...)

Anyways, enough rambling about school!

On the TFG end of things!!
I've started on the re-write of chapter 3 but sadly, because of all of my homework, I haven't been able to find time to start writing chapter 17. I'm that I'll have time tomorrow because I just have to finish writing a two-three minute speech for Communications (which I have my topic picked out and have the speech outlined already, so it shouldn't take me too much time to finish.) and practice it a few times. After that, I'll have the rest of the day to dedicate of whatever I want to do... which right now... is writing until my fingers go numb! I'm trying my absolute best to stay on top of updating, but it doesn't seem to be working out as I'd like it to. A big thanks goes out to all of my fans who have been and still are so patient with me!!

One Piece chapter 513 (don't read this section if you haven't read this chapter!!!!):
HOLY CRAP!!!!! What is Oda trying to do to my heart!!?? Is he trying to kill me?! I sure hope not! One Piece just got really awesome/emotional/epic/suspensful all in the same instant! I nearly cried during this chapter! Seriously! I can't even describe what I was giong through after reading that... I definately screamed and started jumping up and down in my seat, freaking out about what was happening. But now that I've had time to think and cool down... I'm kind of excited for next weeks chapter. This could be the beginning of the most epic saga in One Piece. (Yet somehow I feel that the Strawhats aren't going to be in the next chapter... maybe Ace, Whitebeard, Shanks, or someone else we haven't seen in a while?) Anyways, I have a theory about the whole vanished thing. Sentoumaro (sp?) said that they'd be falling for three days. Could that mean that they get sent somewhere else for three days and then return to where they originally vanished from three days later? That would give Raleigh time to coat their ship and get it ready for Fishmen Island. (Since coating takes three days anyways...) If anyone has read the chapter and wants to discuss it with me... please message me!

Yeah, the title is a joke my teacher told us in class today. Apparently he's really far behind on preparing for school, so he had an empty ketchup jug on his desk and told us he needed to 'ketchup'. (Yes, you can laugh if you'd like...)And ...yes, that means school has officially wrapped it's bony, cold, death-like fingers around me and is now procedding to strangle me of all inspiration and free-time. It's that time of year again...! Hurray. I still can't beleive that I'm a junior this year! Yikes!! Where is highschool going?

But enough pessimism!! On the bright side of life, I almost have enough money to buy a new laptop. Hurray!! I'll try to get one with wi-fi or wireless internet so I write and post more often! Right now I'm using a fairly (try six years) old laptop to write on... which is how my chapter 16 file got corrupted. And speaking of chapter sixteen... I remembered that I'd saved about nine pages of it on Google Docs, so I haven't lost all of it! I'll try to have it out within the next week. But I'm not making any promises. I'm working this school year, taking Driver's Ed,and with the extra homework loadthis year (I'm taking an Honors and AP course...) my updates may be a bit more spread out and sporadic, but I'm hoping that I'll still manage to stay on a two-week update schedule. Still, I'm not making any promises, but I'm trying my best. Once I get past the chapter sixteen road bump, I should be fine again.

Well... it looks like Chapter 16 of Too Far Gone won't be out for a while.... why you ask? My USB drive is a B-word!!! It slipped out of the port and I tried to save chapter sixteen and guess what... the file got corrupted and I lost all SIXTEEN pages of the chapter with the exception of a few, cut off sentences!! And because neither my uncle nor my cousin could repair/recover it... it's looking like I'm going to have to re-write the entire thing. And I hadn't even finished it yet! This was going to be the longest (and possibly best) chapter yet, and it had to go and be an idiot and get corrupted!!! ERG!!!! So unless anyone here knows how to fix it... (I'd send you the file via e-mail, and if your a reader of the story and you fixed it... you'd get a nice sized preview for the chapter!)... I'll have to re-write pretty much everything...!!

I'm sorry for the continued delay on this chapter, but hopefully when I release it, the wait will be well worth it...

(Btw: I'm leaving town tomorrow, Wednesday, morning, so after tonight I won't be on Quizilla until Friday afternoon.)

First off, I'd like to inform any TFG readers that are currently reading this... the chapter 16 post will be delayed a bit. These past few weeks have been insanely busy and crazy! I haven't had many oppertunities to even turn on my computer, let alone write. I'm trying my best to make up for lost time, but it doesn't feel like I'm making much progress (this next chapter is going to very long!! Hopefully it will make up for the extended waiting time.).It should be up on Thursday or Friday, but I can't make any garuntees. And yes, I'm stillworking on the re-write for the Coral Cove arc. Currently, I'm still outlining and gathering ideas and such... I really want the arc to be perfect, so it may be a while before you start seeing the re-written chapters. And also... please send me feedback!! I rarely, if ever, get messages about my story and it's rather disheartening. So please, message me! You've no idea how good they make me feel! (Plus, when I recieve positive feedback, I tend to write more... hint...hint... hint...)

Another little FYI... I'm going to be on vacation all of next week (Aug. 11-17). This means I probably won't be on the computer much, nor will I be writing. Sorry, but my sweet sixteen (Aug. 20)in coming up and I'm going to be celebrating with a few close friends. I'm gonig to a dance on the 16th andthen school starts the eightienth of August! Eek! So I apologize if updates are slow or late this month, but it's going to be pretty crazy! I'll try my absolute best to keep ahead though!!

To keep this short... Breaking Dawn is breathtaking! Yes, I'm a Twilight fan. I had planned on going to a release party in town, but I had some major schedule conflicts (mainly Driver's Ed) and ended up not going after all. But I was able to pick up my copy the next day... wow!! If you don't read the series, I highly recommend them! The writing is amazing and the characters are, too. I'm not putting up an spoilers here... but if anyone wants to rant and rave about the books, message me. I'll be more than happy to do so!

First off, I'd like to apalogize for my snail-esque speed on publishing the next chapter of Too Far Gone. I got some big, not so great, news the other day and I'm still in shock (even though I knew it was going to happen)... My dad is engaged... so things on my end are a bit shakey right now. I'm sorry if I'm slow to respond to messages... but I'm still frazzled. I'll try my absolute best to post chapter 14 on Wednesday, but I'm not making any garuntees...

Another shocker--- Cartoon Network has made it known that they do not plan to continue airing One Piece! Apparently, it didn't do as well as they'd hoped (I'm convinced that they set their expectations as high as One Piece being the next Naruto).As fans of the series, we must let the network, and Toei, know that there are plenty of fans out there and weare extremely disappointed to hear that they will not air any future episodes. If you've already bought the game and Dvd's, good for you, if you haven't, I plead that you do. Funi has done an unbelievable job with One Piece! I highly suggest that every One Piece fan in doubt should buy the First part of Season one, it's incredible! Let's make sure we keep One Piece around in America!

Another note on TFG...I've been thinking about this for quite a while... I've run it over in my head multiple times, and I really don't like how I handled the Coral Cove arc. So, I'm going to remodel/rewrite the entire thing. This means that I'll be editing the first two chapters again. There won't be any huge changes in those, but there is one major thing that I must fix! I had the idea about a month ago, but never had the chance to right the change into the story... ready for it? Kira's black steel sword is going to have a serrated edge. I mulled the idea over for about a week and really liked it. I know, the change is a bit late... and maybe it's not that great of an idea, but I sort of like it...I'd love to hear your opinions on the re-write and the weapon change!

Also, I must fangirl here, if you haven't read the recent chapters of One Piece and you don't like spoilers... then don't continue reading this!!!

Just a few things I can't stop thinking about.... Kuma is back! Bepo is rocking my world(along with Kidd's and Law's powers!)!! Kuzari is going to be so much epic win with his pinstripe suit!! And... Raleigh!! The Shabondy arc is proving to be one of my all time favorites! I can't wait for more!

Wow, I can't believe summer is half over (at least for me) already! Between, work, writing, friends, and family, this portion of summer has flown by. I'm working three days a week and writing every chance I get. I've been trying to stay connected with friends, but everyone is either working or vacationing, making things a tad bit difficult. And my family is just as crazy as always...

Yes, I'm suffering from kitchen lust at the moment. My neighbors are moving down the block and we got a tour of their new place this afternoon. Their kitchen wasSO amazing! If I had it, I might actually attempt to cook something.

Also, I am officially,uncontrolably,excited for The Dark Knight to come out. I had been pretty stoked anyways, but after watching Batman Begins last night, I can't wait to see the new one!

I'm working on Chapter fourteen of TFG. I'll have that out soon...

I've been working on Chapter 13 of Too Far Gone longer than I had hoped and now it seems like you might have to a little longer for the post. Why you ask? My computer shut itself off while I was away and half of the chapter was deleted. A lot of the text turned into boxes and strange symbols. I've tried fixing it with all my might but it seems that I'm going to have to re-write the majority of the chapter. I'm so very sorry for the delay! Thank you for being so patient with me, and if anyone might have a solution for my problem, I would be more than thankful for the advice!

Hopefully, I can have the chapter out by Monday, the absolute latest will be Wednesday!

Yes, the title is censored, I'm not done with Quizilla just yet. Even though the new site is being a major pain!

Anyways, for those of you who read Too Far Gone, the chapter twelve post is going to be slightly delayed. I'm going out of town tomorrow morning and won't be back until Sunday afternoon. I won't have computer access while I'm away. (How will I survive!?) But, good news, I will be able to write while I'm gone... in a notebook. So when I return I will type out and edit the chapter and hopefully have it posted on Wednesday (June 4th)...
