To Korea?!

And now, the end is near...

Or something like that, but note quite so dramatic.


On August 24, my best friend left to Seoul to study there until December. I don't think the news has completely sunk in yet, given that I'm not panicking like mad. Normally, I'd be running around like crazy -- anime-style:

What on earth am I going to do with my life without a decent person to talk to?!
All my mates reading this now are going:
"What the hell; what are we then? Retarded Animal Babies?"
So I say: "Yes. Yes, you are."

For some reason, I have the feeling this neglected blog will finally get some more attention. It appears that, from now on, this is going to be The Way of keeping in touch with each other: blogging.
I'll post on my blog, she'll post on hers (clicky!).
Of course, I won't have that much interesting stuff to tell... Not compared to her, since she'll be in a completely new country with a culture that is much unlike her own. But hey, at least she'll know how bored I am over here.

The worst part is, I don't even have school to focus on. My classes only start in exactly one month and one day -- so I still have plenty of time to be bored. I've already found my resort in cleaning, but obviously the house won't be dirty forever. At least not now I'm going Monica on it; it feels like I'm possessed.
It's quite sad, isn't it? Needing cleaning or schoolwork to keep yourself occupied.

I might start painting the hallways or something. It's about time someone did that. Maybe sand the stairs, fix the plaster that's coming loose, rip out the floor and put some wood there... Well, everything, except the part about ripping.
(Too bad, I love destroying things.)

Recently, I picked it up again and I have to say I'm still pretty decent.

(This drawing was made in honour of my Best Friend; just in case this is the last artwork she'll ever see before her plane crashes or those Korean people eat her with chopsticks.)

This is the first and last group picture I'll ever draw, by the way. My hand still has a cramp when I think about it. All in all, it was worth it, though.
As usual, the shading hardly survived. My scanner seriously needs a good kick up the arse, just like in the good old days when you could still buy a can of coke for a nickel. Then again, the coke back then didn't really come in cans. We drank it from wooden flasks or straight from the barrel. Yes, those days were fine.


So yeah, that was totally random.

This is how my life is going to be from now on, then?
I can only say one thing:

"Huzzah?"
