My Baby Brother.
Hey guys.
On October 9 my family and I learned that my mom was pregnant. It took us a while to get used to the fact that it was happening but after a while we got really excited. I was reading some pregnancy books every night when we got home to prepare for the baby. In fact, I was getting a little annoying with my constant "I read in the pregnancy book...."
On October 27 we found out that my mom had miscarried. I can't even tell you how much it hurt. We came home to find my mom crying on the couch and my stepdad asleep in the other room. The pregnancy books were already put away. I'd cried most of my tears at school when I found out.
Yesterday, my mom had her surgery to get the baby removed and figure out why she had miscarried.
I read in the pregnancy book that 20% of women in their 7to8th week miscarried. We were in that 20%.
I started writing a new story for the baby. We all pictured a little blonde boy. Now, I'm not sure if I will finish the story. I was really excited about it but its to hard to write.
I'm not writing this hoping you'll all pity me. I wanted to write something for my brother. I'm sorry you didn't get chance but we love you anyway.
Best wishes.
RW
