Just When You Thought Fan Fiction Couldn't Get Worse

So has anyone taken the chance to look around on the highest rated lately? I looked today, and I am freaking out at what I'm seeing. I thought the Naruto craze was bad, but the Twilight craze is just the most scary thing I've ever seen.

People seem to disregard the fact that all the characters they're writing fan fiction about are already in a pre-existing relationship. One of the things that I would NEVER do is go against canon and break up a couple. The only somewhat ok thing is if it's before the couple was together.

But now titles are just like:

][][][] *INSERT CULLEN HERE* *INSERT SONG NAME FOR CHAPTER TITLE* *INSERT NUMBER HERE* []][][

Here are some examples:

He operated on my heart, but it didn't take the pain away(Carlisle Cullen)16

I'm sorry but that title is just horribly cheesy.

This burns my eyes. Honestly people. Honestly. Adam Lambert may be gay, but he's in a relationship. Kris Allen is married to a GIRL.

Actually there's a term for this where you fall for your kidnapper. I forget what it is, basically it's survival instincts. Treat them nicely, they will treat you nicely, etc etc.

Honestly. In your school papers it SHOULD say whether your female or male. Either way, it would have taken one moment of speaking up and saying 'DUDES. I'M A CHICK.'

Really? Vampires, all boys school, kidnapped AND BLIND? The only original part of that is the blindness. Seriously people, wtf.

I cringe everytime I go through the highest rated now. Like why God? Why have you done this?
