Myself, Mill and Roxy walked to The River Stage from Queen Street Mall. It was about a ten minute walk. Anyway we got at the venue at Three P.M. There weren’t too many people there. Mill met Jade there and we sat inline. Roxy and I were burning random dockets she found in her wallet which was entertaining for about five minutes. My arms were covered in words then me scribbling them out. Moments after burning shit everyone was running towards the front of the line. I looked around and turned to Roxy “We should go for a run too” I laughed. Roxy shrugged her shoulders and went for a run with me. Some random girl who was also running told us that there were some famous people down there. I replied “Ooo I love famous people”. So me and Roxy skipped down to the front where we saw three members from Atreyu. So I got photos with them and had a random convocation with Marc about the very awesome [DS] (the unofficial official Australian A7X street team).
After I met Atreyu and talking to Shell (One of the owners of DS) I walked up to the front of the over 18’s line and introduced myself to Sampy (owner of DS). I signed a beach ball that was going to be given to Avenged Sevenfold. Sampy took a photo of Roxy and me. I called Mill to tease her about Atreyu and then I walked back up into line were Mill and Jade were.
A few minutes later we heard the drum kit going and I knew it was time for A7X’s sound check. I randomly got bored and asked Roxy to come for a walk around to see if we can see them doing sound check. Mill and Jade tagged along and we went walking. We came to the back and we couldn’t see shit all because the stupid people but stuff infront of the fence so we couldn’t see through it, but we managed to see The Rev and Johnny Christ sitting on the grass. At first Roxy and my self shared a rock while I was taking photos of them sitting on the grass with members from Bullet for my Valentine and Atreyu. The photos turned out shit, but all well. Mill yelled out “The Rev Is a Ferret” because I don’t know why. Then we began randomly yelling out Take the shot and Briannn (From the DVD). They looked around for moment before spotting Roxy on the rock. She waved randomly at them so I jumped up and down waving to them as well.

ANYWAY! I gave up on the rock because A7X was on stage practicing Critical Acclaim. So after watching Mill climb a pole I did too. Roxy helped me up and I could See Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance and Johnny Christ Side of stage and The Rev on the Drum kit. I ducked as I saw them look over to me. I stood back up and saw M. Shadows on stage. I waved at them and jumped down from the pole and then we walked back towards the now massive line.
After finally getting in after about fifteen minutes me and Roxy walked over to the merch booth were I bought a very sexy A7X shirt (I’ll have photos of it soon) and Roxy bought the same A7X shirt, A7X hoodie and an A7X bandana. I didn’t have enough money to buy a hoodie which I was pissed off about. So anyway we were watching Behind Crimson Eyes perform as we walked over to get a bottle of water and of course I had to pee and I had to use stupid port-a-potties which sucked cock because they smell so bad. So Behind Crimson Eyes were finished and Atreyu was setting up as Roxy and I walked down the hill.
Atreyu rocked the concert. Second favourite band of the night I must admit the bass player was fucking awesome. He was going spastic on stage. I loved it! The mosh pit was fucking awesome. I wasn’t game enough to go in it so Roxy and I stayed at the bottom of the hill watching them. We sat down for awhile as they were playing when I got a text message from Mill wondering where we were. So I got up and she half pushed me into the pit, but I dragged her back over to where me and Roxy where and told her I’ll go in the pit for A7X.
Atreyu finished around nine and I walked in the pit with Mill while they were setting up. Bad Idea on my behalf because I was sick that night and not to mention I already felt like fainting because I hadn’t ate that much in the past few days because of how sick I was. So everyone was pushing and shoving. I was also passed out, but managed to survive. I never had been surrounded by so many sweaty guys in my life. So anyway when the lights went dim and everyone screaming I couldn’t see a fucking thing because I am so fucking short. A7X started with Critical Acclaim and everyone went fucking physco. I couldn’t take being in an in closed space and I was almost going to pass out I pushed my way out of the pit loosing Mill as well. I managed to get out some random girl help me and I fell straight onto the ground. It took me a few seconds to regain my energy and I slowly walked to the bottom of the hill where I caught the last minute of Critical Acclaim.

So yeah that’s what they played. During Scream, Mr. M. Shadows dedicated it to beautiful ladies of Australia which everyone screamed back in return. Mr. Johnny Christ sung the first bit of Seize the Day which put a smile on my face. When Johnny was about to start Shads put a pair of underwear on the microphone. Just before playing Unholy we all got to choose two out of three songs for them to play because of how much time was left. The three choices were Almost East, Unholy Confessions and A Little Piece of Heaven. Of course Unholy got the loudest cheer followed by ALPOH. After the played Unholy Shads, Syn, Zacky and Johnny all began to walk off stage, but shadows said “Just joking, we are going to play a little piece of heaven” and they started playing it straight away. Syn ran off the stage and tried to skull a beer, which didn’t work because he had to sing so he ran back onstage. I can’t remember during what song, but [DS] threw their beach ball up on stage, but Zacky hit it back into the crowed and Sampy gave Shads the Aussie flag with [DS] written on it and he kept it as a gift from the awesome people of Australia. The best bit of Avenged playing was hearing The Rev’s voice. He is so fucking awesome live!
So anyway Avenged Finished at around ten and Bullet for my Valentine were setting up. I sat up at the top of the hill because I felt like fainting again. Listened to a few of their songs and Mill wanted to leave So they had about two or three songs left and we wandered out of the Venue. We stood around and listened to Bullet. When they finished the mass of crowed came out. Trust me it was MASSIVE! So we stood around and we saw a van coming out. I stared at it and when in came close I saw the Rev sprawled out across on seat. Zacky close to the window and I think Syn was either beside him or behind. Me and Roxy ran after the van throwing out arms around and jumping up and down. I saw them laugh and give a little wave back before speeding down the road. We gave up on chasing them and walked back to mill and Jade.
And blah blah blah, walked back to the hotel and I couldn’t stop talking about it then I fell asleep
